In a study of 530 healthy new mothers in Iran, an average BIMF score of 97.4 was observed (obtainable range 0-120).  The assessments were completed within the first four months after childbirth.  The inclusion criteria were: having had only one child, having been pregnant with only one child, a normal pregnancy and labor, self‐reported physical health, and willingness to participate in the study.   Women with a history of mental illness or recent trauma were excluded. This healthy sample yielded a healthy, average BIMF score.  You can read more about the correlates of maternal functioning here:  https://www.mdpi.com/1660-4601/17/5/1558/pdf.
